  3. problem solved! tools used,4 1/2 '' angle grinder with grinding disk, dremel with tiny griding disk, flat chain saw file and micrometer....first i ground two oposite sides to 12mm nice an parallel to each other getting as close as i could to the shoulder without touching it.then the other two sides.then ground the corners to 12mm...then rounded it with a flat chainsaw file ..touching up the bottom bit with the little dremal grinding disc..now i have 12mm shock mounts top and bottom...only took about an hour each..
  4. hi feet up fun..thankyou for your attention to my mar upper shock mount delema....so,i fixed the problem by grinding ( very carfully) the 15mm upper shock mounts down to 12 mm....no more problem-ever!

OK good. I wonder why they did that. The KT250 is similar with 14mm at the top and 12mm at the bottom

  5. Ozo shocks come stock with 12mm mountings top and bottom. How the hell do I change the bushings out for the top mounts on my mar. They are 15mm I’ve tried to contact PMK He’s done it. But I don’t know my way around this site yet. I wrote him all about it but the message wouldn’t send. It said someone else had my email address. Holly crap! So frustrating
  6. Ozo shocks on Ossa mar. How do I change the top bushings to fit the 15mm Ossa mar top shock mounts. And where do I get the larger bushings and sleeves

  8. anyone out there have an idea what im missing....Why the bike wont start....heres where its at.... the bike: 1974 montesa 25a sintrifical clutch ,decompresion ,clutch depresser all good .....have spark(new plug),has fuel...carb very clean, with new float needle valve and fuel screen and gaskets..float sits as it should/parralel to body when held upside down, and is in excelent condition......bike has good compresion....timming and spark plug gap are set to factory specs.timming at 2-2.25mmBTDC and plug gap between 0.016-0.018 one thing though....the plug gets wet with fuel and does not egnite /fire the engine...i remove plug clean and dry,dry out combustion area ,try again and same thing happens..........i try starting with no choke or choke, same thing......i was thinking mabe the float valve seat could be pitted and alowing fuel past.........i still have to examine that....any ideas would be greatly apreciated....id like to get this bike going while my boys are still small enough to use it.

  12. hello,im looking for help figuring out how to fix my 348 trial kick start issue....it kicks through like mush, like its not properly ingaging.when i got it a few months ago ,i cleaned the carb and got it going.even then about every third or forth kick would not engage ,just kinda mush through the kick.now thats all it does....even though i have installed a new clutch, cable, and original type levers, and a new 10mil plunger......someone else had this problem on here, did he ever find the solution?.....im using amsoil 80 dirt clutch oil in the clutch..the new clutch is a TJT it comes with two more plates than the original montesa pack,so i left them out.......some one really otta write a book on these things.
