went to compete in the newnan ga stra event and got 2nd on saturday in the sportsman class. bike felt really good and i havn't riden an event since sometime last year. the new bike has me motivated it's a blast to ride. i was worn out on sunday and did ok didn't stick around for the results as i was ready to make the 8 hour drive home. i need to ride more and work out and get in shape, but hey round is a shape right? rob

the one that ttc is selling i got this weekend and it's great. a bit short and not very inforamtive for those of us who don't know the riders, but orverall a really great video of what the top guys can do. they don't tell you scores in sections or lop scores or any info. but lots of great footage. it was done by full throttle not trials tv. it's very professionaly made it's just that they assume the viewer knows all the trials ins and out of the current riders or they just wanted to make a music trials video ??????? but i really enjoyed it i used the pause button so i could read the names on the vest. rob

my definition of luck is "luck is preparation waiting for an opportunity" and it really doesn't matter who wins to me as long as i get to see some great riding. by the looks of it it's a pretty good season with different riders and brands winning. rob

something to try, i to just switched fromm gg to beta and one thng i have to change is the handle bar postition. try playing around with the bars. the geometry is a little different between the 2 bikes and after an hour of riding and messing around with bar postition i finally felt more comfortable. if the bars are to far forward it could make the bike feel nervous and quick. to far back it cold feel slower to turn also your bar witdht could do similar things to the feel. there are lots of options and it might not be the suspension just a combination of all factors that need just that little bit of adjusting. small changes make big differences. hope this helps rob

i would love to see some current video of the 06 and even as far back as 03. indoor and outdoor world championship action. where do you get dvd's from. i've seen the ads for balancing act and out of section but i'm interested in the top gp riders. thanks rob

just took delievery of an 06 beta 270, my first new bike in 13 years. i just found out about this site about 3 days ago. i've been riding gas gas for the last 13 years all second hand. my first trials bike was an 89 beta. the new bike looks and feels really nice can't wait to get it broken in properly and try out some sections. i live in south louisiana us. rob
