Ready for the adjustments: nothing must move with the nuts ( 3: one in front and two in the back.
Next step will be to review the gas tank : liner, painting,...
-
We are back, I have done the rear fender, tail light and did few things I had to redo by missing spares ...
The space is tight on the chain side for brake, chain cover, chain, Shock Absorbers ...
Next job: set up the alignment seat/ tank/ frame.
-
Swimming bike ... Ida went here few days ago.
-
Same subject: what are you using in the US as liner coating ?
-
Chain guard in place, time to adjust the fenders: I want to make one with 2 parts.
The frame had a long life before me. I will need to bend some supports π to have have all ( seat, fender, gas tank,...) in the same line...

Rear wheel is done π
, we will see if the bearing repair is working when running.
I made some adjustments (grinding) to remove swingarm play π, you could see that you have a dirt bike not a race bike π€«.
Next step: back fender and rear tail light...
-
Just the front light , the complete electrical circuit to be done in 12 volts....
-
In practice much better what you can see in the picture π....
-
Front wheel is done π§...
I could start to install the front fender, speedo and brake hardware π€¨.
I have in my shelves an old speedo bought for a previous project but never used: I will use it βΊοΈ.

I am still waiting the compound for the rear wheel bearings π

Remember, I said: "The good news is the grease was fresh, bearing was easy to remove π€¨..."
One rear bearing is not tight as it must be in the drum. I will ad some retaining compound to prevent any rotation.

Bearings arrived today π....
-
I found this one in Internet...π

I removed the front bearings, where not bad π...
Now waiting for the new set, perhaps Monday π€₯, I have enough job for the weekend π§.

The good news is the grease was fresh, bearing was easy to remove π€¨...
They need to be tight in the wheel and "loose" in the shaft, I will see with the new one expected for this week-end. Just remember how old is the bike π¬.
One needs to be replaced the other one seems ok but will be replaced too.
-
Rear wheel, seals and bearings are out ...
-
Yes it's going slowly:
I am waiting the SKF ball bearings for the wheels and the tools to remove the old one properly. One from the front wheel is out of order, and without seals ?
The front tire is in place, the target is to have both wheels in place by end of the week.

Fork boots arrived, now I can go ahead:
-
