Yes on switch,have removed gas cap, does it cold have not run it long enough to get hot.

But what on the bike? It over flow right at start up, and the needle and seat should stop any over flow issue. What throws me off is I can put the carb on another bike and the carb doesn't over flow.

O.K> I,m at work and can get on internet. I can take a carb off a good running 4t, with out an over flow issue put it on my bike it over flows. My bike runs great with any of the three carbs that I have,but they all over flow. Only work done was 300 kit. At first bike would start then die. thats why I started re-checking the work that was done everything looks good so I started changing carbs.

Does anyone out there know the clearance spec for an 2008 Beta Rev 4T? It is time to adjust the valves and I can not find the clearance specification. I have also noticed that when low on fuel in the tank the bike may suddenly stall. As soon as I top the tank up this glitch goes away. Anybody else notice that?

Like to find out if it's an issue before I use that phone! This is the only one he's seen also, I'm hoping riders on this forum have seen more than just this one bike.

Just recieved my Rev4! haven't even rode it yet. What I noticed was the rear ex. hanger sits in the mount crooked, and the rubber groument is not centered. The muffler also sit out away from the rear wheel at least a few inches. Is this normal? did I get an exhaust system that wasn't welded correctly thanks for any input my dealer is 800 miles away.

O.K. I'll post this here how can I fix this Beta overflow problem is it a float adjustment? what is the procedure I've been a motorcycle mechanic for over 15 years I skould be able to handle this. does anyone have any specs etc. Point me in the right direction.

Yea I noticed that ex. bolt also I'm going to change it to an allen head if I can get to the old one off.

Is the mod. a kit or is it an adjustment to the float level? boy are you right about loose bolts. So dirt is getting in the switch I wonder if I cleaned the connectors and sealed them if this would fix the problem? I'll let you know so we can try and keep the bikes looking stock. Thanks again

Yes but being Monday shop is closed and I will call tommorrow, just thought I'd see if anyone has seen this. plus me being a motorcycle tech. and a friend of the dealer I'll probabillty fix it myself.

Just received my 270 and the new kill switch broke kicked and kicked I thought it was flooded then all the sudden it started rode to the next section. used the kill button walked the section went back to the bike and same thing unplugged handlebar wires and started right up. haven't done a ohms test yet but the switch is bad anyone else experance this? I have another issue this being my 3rd beta 97 techno, 05 270 and now the 07 how do I fix the carb from over flowing? this bikes the worse. thank you
