I’m running somewhere between 75:1 and 80:1. I do a good mix of trail riding and section practice. I’m never ripping it around on the trails, usually just puttering in second or third gear. I’m using the strawberry smelling ipone to be friendly to the nostrils around me 🤣. I really just like the smell of it.

Love my 2023 gasgas. Bent the fender flat over this weekend. It just bent back and I kept riding. Learned the bottom dead center and fast kick tricks mentioned in these forums on my last gasser, I’ve never had a problem starting them since. First or second kick every time. Definitely improved on the 2023, I can even start it without choke now.

Doesn’t surprise me that you can use hydraulic oil. There’s lots of different types, viscosities, additives and specs. Is there anything you’re looking for in particular when you choose which to buy?

We rode all winter on them last winter. It worked well at the edge of the season but as soon as there was any significant snow we were relegated to the plowed driveway. Was pondering whether throwing on some dirt bike tires might help in the snow, although at that point maybe it’s easier to just stud up the dirt bikes instead.
