  2. Hello Swoosdave The instruction only told you to line up the Red or Yellow mark on back plate with top fixing screw,it did not tell you the exact timing, Bultaco UK did not know the timing themselves. I am just curious to find out what the timing is? Hightown

    I would block up the ports that are exposed then fill the cylinder with diesel. Leave it for a couple of days Hope this helps Eddie
  9. Hello Scorpa4banger I had the same problem with my 79 Bultaco 250, It turned out to be the jet at the bottom of the choke chamber was blocked once it was cleaned it starts on the second or third kick . Hope this helps Eddie
  10. Hi I had the same problem with my Bultaco Sherpa 1979 250cc . It had not been used for 22 years, It turned out the jet at the bottom of the choke was blocked. When i cleaned it out it starts on the second or third kick every time, I also keep my throttle closed when starting from cold. Hope this helps Eddie

    Hi, I have fitted tubeless tires to my 1979 bultaco shepra. My brother has also fitted them, Mine was a mitchel and he was a dunlop, they were a little tight to fit but have had no problems over 3 yrs. Hope this helps Eddie

  13. Has anyone any tips on improving the suspension on the Bultaco Forks. I have seen Fork Tops with air values do they make a difference. What would be the difference using SAE10 oil or SAE20 oil? Thanks egsmyth
  14. I have tired to adjust the clutch so that I have some clearance at the handle bar leaver. It will not clear the plates unless I have no clearance. I have adjusted the nut at the clutch fully in then out 1/2 turn, I also have 18 plates in the clutch basket would this be right, any help would be appreciated Thanks Eddie
