Montesa 300RR
Mine isn't using oil. I like mine but it's taking me a fair amount of adjusting to coming off a really potent 300 2t. I find I'm a slight bit less capable but am enjoying it more. I'm still adapting to get the timing right on this bike (300rr), but getting better each outing.

Mitani full protection bashplate
That's the same one I put on my bike, just in black. It fits very easily. Every other trials bike I've had the skid plate fitting procedure has been a fight, not on this bike at all.

300rr muffler alignment
I was more wondering left to right, nothing front to back

What do the pads do?

300rr muffler alignment
Can someone clearly describe what side of the tabs the rear muffler on the 300rr hangs on? It seems like either side of both tabs can actually still allow me to fit the muffler. I'd like to get it where it should be. Thanks, Jon

4Rt Fork Seals
I've seen damage like this from the 2 bushings slamming into each other and climbing on disassembly. I'd be inclined to think limiting the travel through the cartridge rather than topping out on bushings is the solution. It might be as simple as setting one fork leg at a different height to use the damper cartridge to restrict overall length rather than the non damped leg

Front fender 300rr spacers?
I've noticed my front fender doesn't allow much clearance for mud and rocks, what's the solution? Just a few spacers under each fender mount? How much space is enough?

300rr max engine RPM?
I just changed my profile to reflect the fact that I'm no longer on the Sherco factory

300rr max engine RPM?
Guys, I'm not trying to hit max rpm I just wanted to know what theoretically the max is.

300rr max engine RPM?
I've had my new bike out for one ride so far, and have a little hr meter with RPM guage that tracks max rpm's and it seems to be reading low.. At idle the numbers seem logical, but when revved out it seems low. So what is approximately our max rpm? I would have assumed over 10,000.. But maybe with the heavy flywheel and restrictive exhaust it just can't get there? Anyone?

Vent lines on 300rr
Hey guys, do people mod the fuel vent lines for cosmetic reasons or is there a reason to do it? How about the crankcase vent? I'm guessing oil into the air filter isn't a desirable thing to have happen. So do you just plug one side with a filter and cap off the airbox side? Jon

Carbon frame guards
I ended up ordering a few things I couldn't find elsewhere, the shipping wasn't completely outrageous, but it wasn't cheap either. I suppose it'll totally depend on what you want to get as to how much it'll cost to ship. The good news is it only took 3 days to get once shipped surprisingly. Thats to Vancouver, Canada.

Carbon frame guards
So I guess I should put a second zip tie on there to be smart? Jon

Carbon frame guards
I just wanted to give a public thanks to Mark at H and D racing for the amazing fitting frame guards. Usually frame guards needs multiple zip ties to keep everything held on, with these I've just put one zip tie at the bottom to keep them nice and tight. Who ever actually made the mold for these really knew what they were doing.

Scalvini exhaust?
So, any actual rider feedback? Surely someone has heard or tried it.

300rr headlight circuit, AC or DC?
Damm that's awesome! Lots of excess capacity. On moto bikes they run about 35w for the fuel injected bikes and even those can run lights without issue

300rr headlight circuit, AC or DC?
Thanks guys, I think it's safe to say it's a DC system at that connector. I'll see if I can figure out a part number for a plug that can go into that plug so I'm not chopping any wires on a new bike, then simply put that plug on the back of what ever light I end up with. Right now I'm leaning towards a Cyclops Adventure sport B15 model (just one of them, but until I have the bike I'm not sure if I'll go that way or a tradtional moto headlight with a LED bulb stuck in it. Generally the light pattern on Moto reflectors is not great. If I had enough juice I could probably power 2 B15's and spread the light out more. http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.com/Cyclops-B15-LED-Auxiliary-light-kit_p_158.html Jon

300rr headlight circuit, AC or DC?
Thanks JimmyL, I have seen circuits on bikes where the headlight is not rectified, thus ac.. And the fan gets the regulated DC signal. If I can find a wiring diagram I might be able to figure out what to expect. I'm ordering parts and it makes a difference as to what I buy obviously. Thanks! Jon

300rr headlight circuit, AC or DC?
Great, 1 vote ac, one DC. Anyone out there qualified enough to meter the circuit and confirm? There's likely more juice available as it is normal to have more than you need on a fuel injected bike. I suspect it's somewhere around 35w total, but would like to know if it's actually more. Thanks

300rr headlight circuit, AC or DC?
That's good, any idea how much extra wattage is available? I think I'll look for a strap on dirt bike headlight mask that I can put a bright led bulb into

300rr HD Skid plate, which one?
I went with the highest coverage one from h and d racing. I haven't gotten the bike or skid plate yet to comment on fit and finish. But at least I'll have everything soon enough. Thanks guys, Jon
