  1. The 2008 rear sprocket has been changed from the 42 tooth of past years to a 41 tooth. Going back to a 42t or a 44t would be your best option. Spencer

My two cents are: The clutch pack measurement doesn't include the spring or pressure plate but for the correct operation of the clutch I have found that the 17-17.5 mm finger height is the most important for engagement. If the finger height is too high the clutch may not fully engage (slipping in taller gears) and if too low it may not disengage properly. I hope that this helps Spencer
  3. I have to agree with Steve Fracey, the gassers that we have owned ( 93 250, 05 280, 05 200, 06 300, 06 50 and now an 07 250) have had no problems that stand out. I have also owned Betas, and all of them have been good bikes. They all require maintenance and each has its own personality but all are good bikes. Get a bike and ride.
