Just a guess, looks like not many clubs wanted to put on a national next year. But ! the Big Thing is with bikes, parts and traveling expenses going up
it should help those who go and save the importers some money in these tight times with the euro and dollar.
Craig , I mean Wine-O ! Thank You for the nice write up and bringing the Smage group down to ride. I plan on making it up to ride with your group sometime next year.
City Trials are we going to see you at the October Test ? I'll have Patricks 08 Sherco for him, polished and cleaned up ready to go. Mike is dropping it off for him to ride and for Ryan to do a couple of trials schools. I'll tell Mike you said Hi.
I'm 6'3" and I liked the 5.5" renthal on the 2006, at 6' i'd suggest looking at the 5.0". On the 07 4-stroke I found the stock bars worked really well for my size.
Congrats to Keith and all the trials riders !! What a great showing. I've invited Mike and the factory scorpa rider Eyries to stay at the house this week so they can relax and to get the T-ride ready for the Oklahoma round.
I have had one and liked it and now am waiting on my 08 to arrive at the end of October to the 1st part of November. The bike is quiet and has a steady pull thru the power , you will like it. Want pull your arms out of socket like the 270. The 4-stroke works everywhere great traction in the mud and off cambers. I have also rode the new sherco 4-stroke very strong motor, they also have done a good job with there new one.
If you haven't had a chance to ride the beta 4-stroke yet this sounds like a good chance to have a go on one. Everyone who rode mine liked it and they are so quiet.
I got a chance to ride the new 320 at the new Mexico national it does have a very nice strong motor ! 320 cc ! it works ! I have a beta 4- stroke so I am partial.
The scorpa 4-stroke is nice just a little big feeling, nice motor, had one of them also.
I think the sherco factory would be very unhappy with there U.S. importer if they started importing a copy of the sherco. Ryan has worked about 9 years to develop the sherco market here in the U.S. and done an excellent job to support the brand and riders. Maybe that would be like shooting yourself in the foot.
Just got home from the New Mexico nats so it's my turn to chime in, great event and weather ! My understanding of the expert class is it's a steping stone for those moving up and a place for pro's to move down who still want to compete. So no sand bagging on Ray's part, it is a great opportunity for the kids to learn from him.
Congrats to Patrick.
Thanks for the noticing Cope, Ron Commo got us springs for the CV's. Thanks Ron !
The factory is usually pretty tight liped. I've had no issues with mine and would recommend one in a heart beat ! Feetup get in line, i'm thinking I heard sometime around October for us in the U.S. give or take a few weeks. Call Ron and he may have some more info and he will be at all the nationals with a demo to ride.
Oh- come on Mark ! I wrote off this year before you did. But I will say the 4-stroke is competitive and what I learn this year will benefit alot of people next year.
I'll put my four stroke up against you & your 2-stroke any place say for that same case of beer, i'm getting thirsty !
Mark- Blane has no minder would you like to volunteer ! I think he was blown away by the diffaculty and level he needs to be at in the pro class. Maybe you are right as far him riding the expert class.
Ray tried to give the win away on saturday.
Pat is the real deal ! Watching him ride is awsome.
They also had a checker that would say she was ready then when you road in the section she would 5 you, saying she wasn't ready and had not blown the whisel. Happed to a few riders both days.
