Same as Bob but also put a little light lube around the opening were the cables come thru the rubber, so they can slide a little when you turn the handle bar left & right.
Here in the U.S. my Beta runs fine on 91 or 93 pump gas. As far as jetting ours show up here with a 30 pilot ,150 main which can be a fuzz rich so some change to a 27.5 pilot and 145 main. It all depends on weather and altitude. Try to get with someone in your area that help you.
Having riden the 07-270 last week the differance I noticed was it felt smaller, the motor seamed stronger and the front end felt lighter. The suspension felt smooth all the way thru the travel.
Overall the changes made the Beta a even better bike.
Mark what's the word ????? Are you going to make Kansas ?
Hensley I agree every class should have two sections that separates the field. There was a log section both days at the Oct. Test that if you fell off it was a five, I saw quite a few fives on that one.
The master class is our top class in this area Okla,Ark,Ks,Tx. The Pro class rides the same sections as the master class with a couple of sections having a pro only split & the Pro class has 3 exhibition sections on saturday after the event.
Usually 8- 10 sections per day, on loop length you will get your moneys worth I promise.
Is the drive worth it YES !
Also you can try the latest offerings for 07, i'll be bringing the 270 Beta, Ryan is bringing the Scorpas & Sherco, Dale will have the Gas Gas there, all avalible for demo rides. I don't think montesa will be represented. Montesa any offers ?
We will also feed you on saturday night.
The event is like a mini national for locals. We are expecting around 130 entry's and will feed 300-350 people.
Clark have a go on the 07 Beta that Raymond is bringing back after the October Test. I have it in my garage now. Frame is changed along with alot of other things.
As Clark said the 290 has lots of power, if you get in a jam just open it up it'll go, just hang on.
Either 250 or the 290 has enough power it's just how you use it. You can also play with the white (fast) or black (slow) throttle tubes to help you tune the power of the bike you chose. Either bike is a good one.
Pro's ride in the afternoon with the intermediate, expert, sr. expert, master. They ride our master line on saturday and sunday with 3 exhibition sections on saturday for their total overall points.
Morning classes are begginer, novice and amature and sr. amature.
I won't say who Arron is riding for as there will be a press release on it soon. That is there THUNDER !
I don't think Aaron or Wineland are going to make it, word on the street is they have changed rides and I want say to what, that is for them to announce. I hope they do make it .
I hear Dale is flying in Chris, for this I trip my hat to him. Dale has always been a BIG supporter to the Central Regionals and the October Test.
The troffies and the finishers awards are very cool, so be sure to finish both days !
Ryan is bringing the new 07 Scorpa's to demo & maybe a Sherco also.
Ron is shipping me a new 07 Beta 270 to demo
I think Dale is bringing the 07 Gas Gas.
We will again have dinner for all the riders on saturday night.
If anyone needs info they can get it off the NEOTT wed site or drop me an email.
Hi Sting, not sure what your looking for but here's my take. We have in this area the central regionals that would be the locals nationals and AVTA is hosting one of the events and I look forward to riding with all of you there.
If you can ride the local expert class at home you will do ok at any national, just hard to beat a local one his home grounds.
I too have passed some riders on the loop at a national that did not belong there.
My thought is you never know how good you are until you travel to differant areas and ride with other riders of your caliber.
Sting are you going to make Muenster if so see ya there.

Hi Mark, I take it you got an 07 ! Congrats ! I just prepped an 07 2.9 myself. I dislike the little spacer on the front wheel by the disk.
I want ask about the mixing screw I ran across 3 or 4 of them in the garage, kept them in case I need they some day.
