Stock fat bars on my 4-stroke Scorpa are 4.5 inch. Jitsi makes 4.5",5",and 5.5" tall fat bars maybe 6" I don't know on that one. I put the 5.5 inch fat bars on my beta 4- stroke, rode for an hour and a half and took them off to tall on the 07. I'm 6'3" and have always used 5.5" bars.
Mark next time I see you I will have mine with me if you want another go on the 4-stroke. As long as it's a grassy field so you will have a soft place to land.
All of us in the Beta camp got to see ya crash Mark ! Thanks for not crashing mine. As I got to spend some time on mine this week the power is smooth from bottom to top , want more power! roll the throttle more.
Taffeerev3 you have had some very good bikes ! I've had an 07 Beta at the begging of the year, what a great bike. Just wanted to try a 4-stroke and got a Scorpa 4- stroke to give a go on and I like it very much so it will be around for awhile !
The bike is fine right out of the crate, so with that said. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. What I did was simple and easy to do. I'm just reluctant to post any changes. Sorry to be vage.
If you get one send me a messege or PM me and i'll fill you in on what i did and why. Maybe I can try to send you photos.
I've got one , having a ball with it. Everyone that has rode mine comes back with a smile !
Stock it's soft-smooth on the bottom. It feels a little bigger and a little heavier than a 2-stroke, but I can do anything on this one that I could do on my 2-stroke just a little more effort on the big stuff. Easy to starts hot or cold, takes little effert to start it. Sound wise pretty quiet ! No popping. The overall quality of the bike is very nice.
I have done somethings to get a little more power out of it.
Trials & motocross news has a blip about Caby and the re-launch of the Sherco 4-stroke on there web site. I found it by clicked on the cover to see what was in the issue.
Mark iv'e had two 07 Sherco's in the garage and the problem was not the rear fender but it is the back of the air box doesn't line up with the back of the frame. Once I fixed that the fender was fine.
Beta carb 30 minutes to fix and yes it should have been fixed years ago at the factory, but over all good quality bike.
I have a Scorpa 4-stroke in the garage now and am having a ball with it. Nice bike, just a little heavy.
Ok i'll chime in from the U.S. on the Scorpa the 250f it is my first 4-stroke and my first scorpa. When I compare it with my 07 Beta it has just as good build quality, so that impressed me. Mine had a hick-up right off bottom , but a 50 slide cured it. It's a very fun bike to ride. Can't wait to try the 4-stroke beta !
