  1. I have looked at this stuff at the local store, same type of material and styling as Barbour, for under 100 quid for pants or jacket http://www.coastalfarm.com/c_outback.html I still think they stink like a dead rat after a couple of good trials, so don't use them, but for those of you who like that old stalwart smell they may be just up your street.
  2. The Scottish Solicitors' Discipline Tribunal (SSDT) is an independent body which mainly deals with serious disciplinary issues that arise from time to time ... I bet it must be hard to protest a dab

  6. Comes up every now and then does this topic, trials does survive tough times, as often said, it is the poor mans motorsport. I don't go for all the hype though, even when in full swing with kickstart, and TV coverage , the long time results have been falling numbers in all areas of the sport. Cater for the poor man, with a realistic price tag on machine and competing, and you will have a just that! a poor mans motor sport. Or flash bang big top circus, get rich quick, like the big time boys did to the economy, and you will probably get the same results.
  7. Square peg round hole comes to mind, ram her in she'll be reet.
  8. That's the one, don't worry, when I saw Barnsley I knew what to expect
  9. The grey thingy that has a thick black wire to the plug cap, on 06-08 mounts to the head steady bracket, It also has a thin black wire that connects to the black wire of the kill switch, to test you have the correct wire, start the bike, wet your finger and grip the frame firmly, it should kill the bike, then you know you have the right wire and you can then connect your kill switch, the other wire on the kill switch goes to ground, and when you press the little red button, it grounds the live wire and cut's power to the spark plug. Yam connectors are normaly bulit type, and the Sherco will be spade type, sometimes the Yam do have a washer type connector for the ground and you will only have to change the bulit end to fit the Sherco. 10. Black wire to black on ign module, green wire of kill switch to ground on frame.

  12. With todays bikes being designed more for riding sections than long endurance type of events, and the shortage of man power to police the entry to make sure they stick with the same bike all week, is it time for a rule change ?. Some can and do get away with changing, probably because they have enough sense to use the same type and colour machine as they entered on, as a club rider I know what some of the top riders are up too, but also know if they are on the dodge it isn't going to have much affect on my results and fun for the week.
  13. I can add three more names who I will swear to doing the same thing, should they return thier awards and be banned also, bet there are many others who have been seen by posters on TC that can name a good few more, hell we may be able to get the numbers banned, down enough to avoid a ballot next year. Well that SSDT turning into a bit of a joke, fellow with the most bikes wins.
  14. Geez, many have done it, I have personaly rode down the road with a knackered bike and out of the event, and seen the winner of the event taking delivery of a fresh bike, yes the lad made a dumb move, but if he was able to change the bike for the same type I doub't it would ever of been mentioned. I have even heared mention of a rider complaining about this incident, and I saw the very rider who complained start a day on a red bike and end the day on a blue bugger, if your going to get after one, then you need to get after them all and check the bikes every day out on the course.
