  1. from what i can make out the bike ended up in wales on a farm. it was then sold and made its way back to belper,
  2. i dont have the airbox or chaingard but yor right about frame mods. i bet you uncle had a hand in that ,seems to much like a majesty frame, but your right about the garden shed rear shock! lol. what area did they live?
  3. it seems your dad got yamaha to press a new swing arm out as its the same as the other standard yam ones i have, your grandad did a good job of cutting of the rear shock mounts that had been moved ect ,come back to me on the rest of the mods he did to a standard ty frame please just so i can see if its the same bike
  4. yes, it used a rocker arm of the vertical link to top of shock. i think it might have been a weekend project when they were learning to weld!

  7. hi, i have a bsa c15s that i am looking for info on. the bsa records have the frame number each side of mine but mine is a blank. i was told that this could be because it went to the compertition department. its not shown on vmc bsa records. any ideas were to go next??

  9. how long should they be please? now i have got hold of a rear swingarm i can make a start putting it back to a twinshock bike and take of the rubbish mono mess thats been done to it. whats the best make of shocks to go for?

    i sent him a email and asked if he was selling it as a works bike , or was he tying to mislead with hi wording. he told me not to waste his time and dont bid. !

    the frame looks liye a yam frame, my majesty is the same,
  12. mines a bigger mish mash,some one cut the rear mounts of my majesty,frame and swingarm. i willswop the swing arm but the frame mount will be remade on a lathe and rewelded on.

    hi , i just got a ty80 today. the tank bracket is snapped off but i can give you details and sizes soon if thats ok

  15. hi all, is there any records of ty 250 majestys ie frame numbers. i am looking for info on the yam frames, ie dates made ect. many thanks
