  1. I think were still going forward, but not with a huge step, more like a small hop. I will never be able to ride a bike with a computer because computers always seem to go wrong when I use them. BUT the all new bikes coming out means that people will be ridding themselves of the 'useless' two strokes for silly money so they can keep up with Mr Jones next door, meaning young'uns like myself have a good lot of bikes to choose from, not expensive and still up-to-date"! Having said that when I upgrade from 125 will probably go for a Sherco again as the old man knows his way around them now. Not managed to break it yet though not for lack of trying! (then again i've not come off for a long time-touch wood. . .) Just my tuppence worth. Pete.

Me Dad bought one a few months ago from ebay (BIIIGG mistake!) was cheap though. Had a quick ride on it before was completely stripped and to me was great, even with bald tyres, solid suspension and completly knackered everything else! Should be rebuilt in a few months I hope. From what ive seen at a few club trials, it is possible to use them in very difficult sections, and I love the looks on peoples faces when someone on a grubby but well loved twin beats thier brand new computerised kit. Maybe on day I can do the same. . . in the novice class of course. . . Just my tuppence worth, Pete.
  3. Got it, taught me loads of stuff that I didn't know before and cured of bad habits I didn't know I had! Dad got it from ebay, don't remember how much, but definatly worth it. Pete
  4. Cheers! About the only thing I havn't tried was Google. Thought the chances of success were too slim. Will try it out now. (Also thought that this would be a good lazy way to get the info!) Thanks alot, but keep it coming please! Cheers, Pete.
  5. Hi everyone. For my AS level DT project, i'm making a rampy thing to get my bike onto the trailer. I know the simple thing is a plank, but this will be a special thing. Part of the folder is research into exsisting projects, so please could some of you say what you use to get your bikes onto a trailer, and if its a special a general description would be great! Any info much appreciated. Cheers, Pete.
  6. Yeah good point Andy. I guess people aren't brought up to be mature any more. (Bit rich from a 16yr old I know but my Mum bless her did a good job, the 'ol fashioned way). Just for the record, SHERCO ROOOLEZZZ INNIT
  7. I like the idea of starting a bike review page. It could include the bike specs as supplied by the factory and a user review area a bit like all the front page articles already have.
