  1. thanks, the dellorto is from a gas gas 300, have sleeved the inlet, and it starts and runs, just need to sort out the jets, thanks for the reply will let you know how i get on.

  3. hi all, just sorting out my 340 and would like to fit a modern carb. i have a new dellorto bhbl 26 this is from a 300 gas gas, it fits perfect to the air filter rubber hose with the gas gas adapter but the bultaco stepped inlet rubber for the amal carb is too large 35mm to 31mm on the dellorto. what inlet rubber can i use or should a i switch carbs to 28mm keihin. what are the set up jets for the dellorto or keihin. thanks
  4. Further to the West Leeds Club meeting tonight it was decided to cancel the trial at Post Hill on the 12 March due to access to the parking area. Work is in progress to manufacture a wetland area on the site. A revised date will appear on the West Leeds website at a later date
  5. yes i have just fitted a new front sprocket on to my 315 r4 and fitted it as the hrc manual - circlip, washer, sprocket, washer and circlip. All fits snug

  8. The factory Montesa repsol colour for wheel rims is a light orange. Has anybody had the correct colour applied ?, as the repsol colour with companies in the uk advertising wheel anodising and powder coating looks like a dayglow orange. Has anyone given a powder coater a Ral No referance ?
  9. 2007 REPSOL should be a standard 2007 bike with extra kit not an old stock bike with decals, ali and carbon kit. Granted you get lots of goodies. Montesa are missing the point. Lets have a up to date bike with swichable mapped throttle body, lots of carbon, ali brackets and foot rests. Sponsors decals, tricked wheels and with the option of a factory fitted 280 kit and charge a premium.
  10. Regarding the programing for the RT4, i'm sure a lot of riders will look at the setting software on the laptop with a blank as i did. Hence a call to Sandifords to install Wayne Braybrooks higher power setting. This transforms the responce of the engine. Hats off to Wayne and Sandifords. A softer programme that Wayne has developed is also aviable.
  11. In trialsworld magazine a picture of Fujigas's bike at hawkstone is showing a switchable power mode similar to a Gas Gas Raga. This is not on Doug's bike. Any info ?

    Rt 4 Ristrictors

    In answer to your question Munch Sandifords have issued a ammended hrc set-up sheet to all the dealers covering all the ristrictors. Ristrictor between throttle body and head (intake). Collar A front exhaust, Collar B middle box and the the spark arrestor. All bikes should have the intake restrictor taken out by the suppliing dealer and for a full power version all the restrictors removed. Sandiford state that on team bikes they are leaving in collar A front exhaust and the spark arrestor but removing middle box collar B. this was back in December.

    Rt 4 Ristrictors

    Have you removed all the restrictors from the exhaust Mr J Sunter as Sandifords are saying the team bikes only have the middle box collar B removed. If so is this to get the full power version as stated on the information sheet. Do you think the bike has improved performance? and do you think we are told to keep them in due to noise?

    Rt 4 Ristrictors

    Has anybody removed all the ristrictors in the exhaust yet. Had my bike since November and left all the ristictors in place. After experimenting with removing the spark arrestor, i now have removed collar A front pipe and collar B middle box and the rear spark arrestor. Have to say the bike is transformed. Bottom end is as before but power feels increased and comes in with no delay. The bike also starts first time when warm. unlike before. I think this is how the bike is supposed to be but comes fully ristictored due to noise level under load. Note:- no middle box gaskets yet so have to use CR mx

    4rt Delay?

    Yes it comes with full manual as 04, plus rear lights / indicators mounting mudgard, front lights and indicator. Restrictions removed to change to full power in ECM map, second restrictor removed between intake duct and throttle body. Sandifords are recomending to only remove the restrictor in front of the middle box and leave the spark arrester on the rear silencer. All was carried out by appys prior to collection. First comp ride evaluation - incredibly smooth and stable over rocks but not as easy to flick the front end as 04 - mud and cambered climbs awsome, grip inspires confidence. From a standing start turning on a uphill camber bike just grips and accelarates no drama. Huge reserves of power as you just use the bottom end. 3 No 4RT in comp so getting better. 2No from Appys, 1No from DMS
