sorted it was the clutch basket bolt it had come slack and was stopping the slave cylnder moving new owner very happy now thanks for the help

the oil is clean bike was on its side so no oil would come out am going to work on the bike today ( have all my tools with me ) will let you no how i get on

its a 280 pro (02) have had a quick look at it its in at the clutch basket couldnt get the kick start screw out so just let the casing move on the shaft the lever moves ok and the casing moves in and out as soon as u tighten the casing up it is solid again is it possable that the bolt for the clutch bashet has come slack and stopping it ??

have been on the phone with him and he told me that the clutch was draging so he adjusted it yesterday told him to screw the adjuster right out he did still the same ????

need help have just sold my bike yesterday and the new owner has been on with me to say that he cannot pull the clutch lever in it seems to be solid the switch cluster is clear of the lever has any one heard of this problem

i have probably posted this on the wrong forum but i am selling my bike on this site and have recived some emails through trials central showing interst in it but they will not phone me they want me to sort out the shipping of the bike and then send me the money ?? just wanting to know has anyone else recived any of these emails and what did you do ? ( run a mile )
