  1. Ah OK will have to have a play around with the routing then also. Do you remember your exact routing that cured it?
  2. Will give them a call today then and see what they say.
  3. Nice thread, anyone know where I can get these stickers in the UK, I'm missing one on one side of the bike and the one I do have is tatty...
  4. Thanks And thanks for trying to find the part number
  5. Ah yes that's something I didn't do, thanks. Will do that next :-)
  6. 2012 GasGas 300 RRR It's a 2012 GasGas 300 Pro Replica Raga Replica (Hence the triple R). I usually prefer stock bikes but this one came up for sale at the same time my brother wanted to buy my previous bike off me. Frame sprayed black GasGas UK graphics Red Renthal handlebars S3 Hardrock footrests S3 Racing head S3 racing cylinder S3 titanium header S3 front brake reservoir cap S3 snail cams Dellorto 28mm racing carb (red) Aluminium yokes (red) RFX rear brake lever Apico flexi brake/clutch levers Jitsie magnetic lanyard kill switch Carbon frame guards Jitsie rim graphics
  7. Bike: 2012 GasGas 300 with red Dellorto 28mm racing carb As of yesterday my carb slide started returning slowly after very small throttle movements (say 1 1/6th of a turn). It returns just fine after bigger movements as it should. What I've done so far: Greased inside throttle tube assembly Sprayed GT85 down the throttle cable Checked both throttle tube and grip moved freely and do not fowl on handlebar Checked throttle cable is mounted freely and not cable tied anywhere Removed carb and sprayed carb cleaner up all the tubes, holes and ports etc Checked slide for scoring or any damage (none found) Checked throttle return spring is not damaged (is not) From doing that lot it seems there is no physical reason for it to return slowly other than maybe the return spring just not being strong enough? Any other suggestions I can look at? It was completely fine last weekend, only thing that was different to usual on its last ride out was it was wetter and muddier than usual, some deep water etc and other than that all that i've done since is wash and dry it. It's definitely the slide/cable/throttle as I've had the airbox off and watched it so it it does not look like dirt in the carb etc
  8. Right, think I've found what I need: WD40 Chain Cleaner WD40 Chain Wax Cleaner cleans really well and the wax is very durable and does not fling, especially if left to cure over night. Just under £10 a can for 400ml so not too bad.
  9. I think what it actually is is a 300 RRR (Replica Raga Replica) lol
  10. Sorry I meant it does have a red flat slide dellorto carb.
  11. It does have the red klien slide carb and the title of the ad said 2012 GasGas Pro 300 r/r but the guy on the phone said that the bling bits inc carb and s3 head etc had been added by the previous owner.
  12. Previous owner said he sent GasGas the frame number and they said it was a 2012 pro 300, I believe they were all red frames so I'm guessing it's had the frame sprayed in order to complete the Raga look.
  13. Awesome thanks, will reference that tomorrow when I have the bike with me.
  14. Thanks yeah that's the problem I'm having! Have had a look round the website but different things point me to different models lol When it arrives tomorrow I'll have the frame number so will contact GasGas.
  15. Is there any way I can find out from the frame number?
  16. Hiya thanks for the info, I didn't think GasGas did an '11 Raga?
  17. I've just bought this 2012 300cc from a shop and it's being delivered tomorrow. They've said they believe the previous owner had put all the bling bits on including s3 head and red Klein carb etc so it's not a true factory Raga rep. It has some raga bits on it but also does not have black rims so I think the shop may be correct. So does anyone know what model it actually is? More pics to follow later
  18. Thanks very much. Although I've just been out to the bike to try your suggestions and it started first kick! So I can't go try to fix it if i can't replicate the problem. Will have to leave it a day or two and try again.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong but the '04 uses a stator and cdi no? So it could be an issue with one or both of those.
