Have just looked on the Renthal 'Fit My Bike' section and they list a FatBar for a 2003 Rev 3 (part number 673-01)??!! http://www.renthal.com/File/fit_my_bike_pr...p;bikedate=2003

Ok, been looking at Pro Tapers, from what i can see the Factory Suzuki bend is only available on the Pro Taper SE (with a brace), and i was after a braceless setup, which was why i was looking at Fatbars. Factory Suzuki W800 H92 S47 I have found that Pro Taper Contour Taperwall Bars (Braceless) come in W800 H92 S57 (Henry/Reed), maybe that is something to look at along with the S3 adapters?
  4. There you go look, get out to the garage and get some pics of your setup and post it up.

Riser clamps and high rise bars might be too much. I might just take my yoke off bore it out.
  7. Yeah but i doubt many people get as good a bleed with a syringe as we did with the tool.

Are the bar clamps removable on the Rev3 then? Havnt actually looked. I could yeah, or if the standard clamps are removable i could just bore them out to suit fatter bars.
  9. Post up a how to and some pics as it works very well, could help others.

Will i have to change both the bar clamps and the yoke on my 03 Rev 3 to fit Fatbars?

How do i fit a 2004 or 2006 front mud gaurd on a 2003 bike, they mount different. Maybe drill out the rivets and swap the brackets over?
  12. I just replaced seals and oil in my forks and the parts alone cost
  13. I was under the impression the Rev3 2001-2006 pastics are interchangeable, but from what i can work out the front mud gaurds on the 2004 2005 & 2006 are mounted differently to 2001, 2002 & 2003. I WAS going to put 2004 plastics and stickers on my 2003 but i'm guessing i cant do this now?
  14. I recently done a long trip to collect my bike and hired a small van from my local http://www.burnt-tree.co.uk/ think it cost
  15. Nice work Looked like a good day.
  16. Aaaahhhh, its like one big happy family. Feeling left out now, will add some of my pics from the weekend shortly.
  17. Ahh good, thanks for that

Theres a 2006 Rev 3 on ebay at the minute with 2008 black plastics on, if the 2006 fit the 2003 will the 2008 fit the 2003? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/beta-rev-3-270-trial...%3A1%7C294%3A50
  19. Will do thanks. We did notice when we put it all back together that one fork leg was a few inches longer than the other which made the front wheel axle a right pain to get back in as the bottom of the forks were nowhere near in inline, is this right?
  20. Is Beta UK John Lampkins then? (as thats what i asked for)
  21. No cigar.... http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&s...+beta&meta=
  22. Just changed the fork seals and dust cover seals on my 2003 Rev3, put 350ml of oil in the leg with the spring and 370ml in the other (as per Rev3 manual). The forks feel 'ok' but they seem to have a stiff spot about half way down the travel, i'm pretty sure this wasnt there before, is there anything i should be checking? (i'm new to this by the way)
