I have just bought a 2013 300 raga to replace my 2012 one and when I went to set the rear shock up I found that it was upside down compaired to the 2012 raga,ie the compression is at the bottom not the top and I am finding it hard to adjust it because of the linkage,is there an easy way or do I have to take the shock off to adjust the compression thanks for any info kind regards tommy

the problem turned out to be a burnt out coil on the stator,,,thanks for all the help,,,,cheers

can you run through the procedure for checking for a spark and the kill switch,,,do you just disconect the switch,,thanks tom

hi there was wondering if some one could point me in the right direction,,,,i was riding my bike and then all of a sudden it just died,when i tryed to start the bike again it ran for a couple of seconds and then died again,,since then will not start,there was no indecation of anything wrong before this happened,i have checked fuel and air ,,,carb,,,and have put a new plug in,,,and it still will not start,,,,has any one got any ideas or has anybody had this happen to them ,,,thanks tom

my 2007 raga 300 runs fine when the throtle is open,, but when on tick over seens as though its being starved of fuel,,,,it runs ok when the mixture screw on the carb is screwed right in but then this affects the bike when the throtle is opened but when i unscrew the mixture screw on the carb it stalls ,,,,any help would be greatfull...thanks ps pulling the choke out on tickover stops this

hi ralph thanks for the info i have messured the sag and it is 100mm at the rear and 40mm at the front,,,i do not know the full travel on the bike so what would be a third in mm,,thanks tom

hi just getting the bike ready for its first trial,,,anybody out there tell me how much sag there should be for a 2007 gas gas front and back ,,,i am 15 stone in wieght,,,,thanks tom

ye,,, your right ,,nothing that can not be fixed,,,,just do not want it rattling loose harf way through a trial..

not had the bike long,,,and with other bikes i have had in the past i have never had the case bolts vibrate loose before,,,going to order a new seal,,,and check the bolts after every ride,,,,,the way its going i think it is going to be a very short relasionship with the gasgas,,,,fingers crossed for my first trial on it this weekend...tom

hi there ,went to the 2007 txt pro 300 raga to night and it had an oil leek because the clutch casing bolts had come loose part of the gaskit was sticking out.i slid the gaskit back in tightend the bolts and re filled with oil and it seems alright, is it normal for them to come loose and would it do any harm if i locktight them in place.

tryed the fan on a 12 volt battery,worked,tryed bypassing thormostat,not working,change thermostat and fan module,,working ,,,,great turned out to be the fan module,,,,what a pig to change the thermostat,,though ..are the spanish trying to take the p*** or what,,,i left the bye pass cable for the thermostat stiil connected to earth so if there was a thermostat failer in the future its just a quick change from the white wire off the thermostat to the loop wire ,job done ,,thanks for all the help,,tom

hi there been out and bike got hot,fan did not come on,got home and tryed the fan connected to a 12 volt battery and works fine,,try to loop the fan for it to stay on all the time but could not do it,the wires from the thermostat went to earth and then to a white wire so i tryed to connect them but could not get the fan to stay on any info on this,,,also if it is a faulty thermostat how do you go about replacing it ,,,the bikes a 2007 txt pro 300 raga,,,thanks tom

just got back back in the house,,,cracking day weather has been great had the last hour on the dry setting great could tell a differance in the frist two yards,,,,same result though,,,,,live at fell green so lifes sweet,,,,

stripped the carb this morning,,,,a lot of crap came out of it,,,,put it back together with all the nipples connected to tubing,,,perfect,,,just come back from the morning session no problems,,,bit of dinner then back out,,brill,,,thanks to every one for info it was a great help....tom

the petrol is running freely out of this over flow when the petrol is turned on so must be something not right inside,i am going to put a hose on the nipple and run it over the carb like you say,,,,do not fancy capping it off,,,incase there is a problem like this down the line .....thanks,,tom

it is a kieln carb thats on the bike,i will strip the carb and clean it tomorrow and then see how that goes,,,,thanks for the info,,,tom

anybody out there help me,,,i have just got a 2007 raga txt 300 pro and have just come back from a ride and noticed fuel coming from the nipple at the bottom of the bowl,why is this happening and how do i go about sorting the problem out,,,,also should there be a tube from this nipple ,,,,thanks for any help ,,,,,tom

my ty175 is reving to high on tick over and the tick over screw does not stop it any ideas any body,,,,thanks tom

i have a ty 175 and it has been standing in the garage for a couple of years,the bike was working fine when it was put away,but will not start now,,,,what is the best way to go about it,,,what to replace,,,etc. before i have a nother go at starting it.thanks tom

can any body tell me why,when i start my sy250 from cold ,using the choke it starts second kick,choke back in and the bike runs fine.then when i stop the bike and try to restart the bike when warmed up ,it still will not kick over unless i use the choke.can anybody tell me why it will not start unless i use the choke even when warmed up .thanks.

i had the same problem a few weeks back,and did what has already been said,but also make sure your fuel mixture is 70ml to every 5ltr and the mixture screw on the carb is 2 and a harf turns out from fully in ,i did this and it runs great and has never cut out since..
