Honda Rs 250

Featured Replies

Looks like a TLR200 with a TLR250 tank to me.

I own one of these .....it is truly an RS 250/..........Great bike by the way

Apparantly. there were RS250 models available in Japan that used the TLR200 chassis, wheels etc. fitted with the RS250 engine, TLR250 tank, so they do look like a TLR200 with a 250 motor and tank.

I don't know this for a fact, it's what I was told once, but I have seen 3 or 4 RS250 models like this for sale over the last couple of years.

It's a 250 motor, not a 200 - has the 250 barrell. The definite point of ID is that the motor should be prefixed RS.

I thought the RS had an alloy swinging arm.... ask him for the engine number, it will have to start with RS250 if not its not an RS engine,

keep me posted

Scrumpy...

i too saw this, and it sure looks to me like a tlr, all of the rs200/250 i have seen have a silver engine, and a different tank/seat ect. as you say only a pic of the engine no will show if the motor is an rs one.

The bike is an RS250TA, basically a Japanese home market TLR250. It just has the one piece tank/seat unit.
