Can anyone help have just bought a renthal r1 chain

for my beta and i requires a half link !

Does anyone know if they do one as i can't seem to

find one wherever i have looked cheers

And if so who sells them.

Iris makes a "1/2" link (3 rollers, RXL, part #BT280310067), but I don't know if the width between links and inner bushing diameter is the same as the R1. Sometimes aftermarket rear axle snail cam adjusters are oversize and allow more leeway in chain adjustment in order to preclude the need for a half-link.

iris links don't fit r1 chains, I found out on sun when my split link vanished into some lincolnshire mud  borrowed an iris one and they are a lot chunkier than the r1 chain.

Cant you just remove a link and adjust your wheel?????

i cam away from the trial with most of the lincolnshire mud maybe you split link is in our garden!!?? haha

I'm sure Dabster i right can't seem to find them anywhare which

i find strange'tried the other manufacturers links although all being

of the same pitch the renthal chain has a much larger pin size.

The trouble has arose because if you buy the recomended 102

link chain when fitted the wheel/tyre clearance is so small that

when the wheel is turning quickly it rubs on the lower part of the

shock body and swing arm.If you use a chain of 103 links in length

you have run out of ajustment before you start.By the way this is on a beta!
