Hi there folks i have just come across a problem when going to rebuild rear wheel with new spkokes and rim! the problem is do some ty 80s have a 32 spoke wheel and others have 36 spoke wheel? i have new rim and spokes whice are 32 and old hub which i have just repainted and fit new bearings and seals as 36 spokes! as anyone else come across this before cheers for any help!

come on you ty80 owners how many spokes should they have on rear wheel!

32 on our TY80 hope that helps.

I've got 2 , 74 TY80 rear wheels and both are 32 spoke.

Reason people didn't answer is IT"S SUNDAY during Trials season.......

Thanks guys looks like im looking for another rear hub then with 32 spokes! i wonder what my wheel is off as ty80 wheel bearings and seals fit also rim is same size 1.40 X 14 but with 36 spokes!

Probably a little honda , most of them used 36 spokes ....

i looked at hub and it as yamaha markings cast into it!
