Acu License

I would need an AMA international license, which requires you also have their medical insurance, they once had to fly a rider home to the USA for treatment so it is very expensive.

Being a British citizen I have access to the good old national health system,

bottom line it's a lot cheaper to join my old club and get a british license.

Never thought of it like that Boofont, has a brit, I did what was required to be legal to ride the scottish, if I was American I would have to go with the AMA!!!! because I'm a brit living in U.S. does it mean I have a choice? don't know but why ask why if the ACU license is cheeper :P

most Scottish event (SACU) are like open to centre events - only SACU riders can ride with SACU license

higher events - ie nationals - eg SSDT - you could but if you have an SACU licence why ????

for the English, welsh, IOM and channel island - you're ACU, you pay

as your a Brit you *should* be OK bodging, if you were a yank though.........

Should be ok bodging :P whats bodging about riding for your own country?

Maybe you could help me then, what country should a Englishman ride for?

Doug is Spanish champion, also spends a lot of time there, should he ride for Spain?

Me thinks you would be the first to p*** and moan if he did.
