Hi,

If the seal replacement does not work it might be worth noting that the water pump case is made from Magnesium which is porous. If there is evidence of scuffing or corrosion in the Mg case the water can seep through into the gearbox. Replacement water pump case is about 60 squid. The newer cases are made with more Ally and are therefore less porous. Good luck!

Just went to change the seal - and there is a lot of evidence of corrosion, especially at the bottom of the impeller. Quite a few holes in there.... ! Is there a repair (metal-mend?) or am I looking at a new side casing..........

cheers
