Instead of worring about the provence and engineering skills that went into the above machine.

When will people get serious and ask why the modern Pre 65 bikes that bear no relationship to the original machines are allowed to partake in pre 65 trials.

My 71 Sherpa is more original than the majority of Cubs, Bantams, James that I have seen.

I am now ducking below the parapet and off to bed!

      Damn it, I was speaking to Jon May at the show and didn't realise it was his bike until much later, I could have asked him all about it! I reckon its probably an early motor in a modified later frame,

      Do not have to be the original repalcement kit Bultaco had sold back then but yes this gastank seat combo fit's a little bit better IMHO to the engine: Here as an example:
