What is the best helmet to buy?

Featured Replies

Currently got an Airoh, and looking to change it...any opinions on what is the best trials helmet to buy?

Cheers.

Alex.

I've always loved my Airoh helmet, I find mine really comfortable & a great fit, If your going to change it, I'd just go for a new Airoh one.

Its not a question you can ask or answer. The only way to buy a helmet is to go and try them on.

Think that is what I will do...I have an Arai road helmet, and that has to be the most comfertable helmet I have ever worn. Have thought about getting an Arai, but might just stick with Airoh.

Thanks.

I always use Arai road helmets but when I tried an open face one it felt too 'good' for trials. It was sturdy, warm, fitted very well and was very comfortable, but I really felt too cocooned, if you see what I mean.

I then tried the Nau and that felt just right, I could hear the noise of the engine and it seemed more appropriate for trials.

I suggest you try as many as you can and don't discount the less expensive ones.

Pete

try them first different makes fit different just go for best fit may have to pay more but protects in crash

Hi, I've had an airoh which was a excellent fit, now got a jitsie bolt which also fits like a glove, and they are also a bargain price that includes a spare liner 1. Give BVM a call as they stock both and are local to you.

cheers

I have a hebo thats not all that half bad however i want to eventually going to go towards a NAU. I like them better than the hebo have yet to try one on though.
