If you could configure a trials bike that afforded you the ability to raid the parts bins of any current trials bike manufacturer what would this "Parts Bin Raided" configured trials bike look like? An example would be, The engine out of a 2100 Beta Evo, The 2011 GAS GAS PRO frame, The 4RT shocks, etc, get the picture"? And what would we call it? Basically: What engine configuration: i.e. 2T or 4T What size cc: What engine: What frame: What dia of forks: What forks: What forks: Upside down or conventional: What Rear Shock: What plastic: What wheels: What (factory) colour: What factory graphics: What clutch: What brakes: Should be an interesting configuration! What factory graphics: To Let What clutch: Massey Ferguson What brakes: Tea breaks, smoke breaks and NAAFI breaks are my favourites Should be an interesting configuration! What frame: Steel as per latest GasGas - inherent strength in the design What dia of forks: see below What forks: 4rt Showa What forks: Upside down or conventional: see above What Rear Shock: 4rt Showa or Ohlins from what I have read What plastic: 4rt RTL Burgundy metallic circa 2006 What wheels: 4rt/DID What (factory) colour: 4rt Burgundy as above or Repsol What factory graphics: as above in Fuji style with flat alloy tank What clutch: not 4rt What brakes: Nissin oversize front, wavey disc. It just struck me just how good that bike could bee as an all rounder trail/trials bike with possibly a slightly larger tank and seat and a bit here and there(real brakes). And you can put the stock tank back on and gain about 1/2 a litre more fuel . Glenn (now just some Maxton suspension bits ...
