bricklane Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 Hi Bought an 07 txt250 Engine had an annoying "rattle" turned out to be 2 bearings knackered in gearbox Put everyithing back together new bearings in gearbox new piston new clutch etc. Started bike up...there is an annoying rattle coming from the clutch area...when you engage gear the noise goes...when you pull the clutch in the noise is still there it only goes when you engage gear!! We've checked the clutch basket etc and everything seems to be fine.....any ideas before we strip it down again? arghhh!!
