Michelin X- Light

Featured Replies

What pressure should i use in a X - Light rear, do i need slightly more in say 5psi or is 4-4.5 ok, not used an X-light before and mostly ride rocks/beck sections.

the x light is a softer compound and has thin sidewalls. so its more likely to have a punture.if you're riding fast long trails pump it up to 7-9 psi. 5 psi would be perfect you could even take it down to 3 in the mud :hyper:

hope this helps,

ben

I run my rear X light at 5 PSI, If you run it to soft you end up with it getting cuts in the sidewall,

Mine has three in one side!

Wrong side of 15 stone, been using Dunlops run at 4psi with no problems.

me too I run at 4.5 to 5 and am not hard on tyres. Dont get many more punctures on x lites maybe a couple but not significantly more.

I ride on rocky/concrete stuff a lot. Any tyre gets cut up side walls.

Just be gentle on the hard stuff.
