Stolen Trials Bikes Recovered

Featured Replies

Copied from front page article:

Following an operation earlier this week, Police officers from Greater Manchester Police recovered seven Off-Road motorbikes. One bike a Beta machine was quickly identified as a stolen bike from the Leeds area of West Yorkshire, the other machines were then examined and attempts to locate owners made.

The bikes recovered were as follows , 3 Gas Gas Trials Bikes ( 2 have had their identification numbers removed) 1 Kawasaki KX 80 , 1 Honda CRF 450 , 1 Zongchen Quad bike.

Police Officers from Greater Manchester Police Off Road Unit have examined the bikes and they have listed a number of parts on each bike that is not factory fitted. It is hoped that any potential owner would be able to name several of these additions that would help prove ownership ( pictures of owners on bikes would help ).

It is not known where in the UK these bikes were originally stolen from, but it is hoped that they can be reunited with their owners. If you, or anyone you know, has had a Gas Gas Trials bike stolen and not subsequently recovered then please contact Jonathan Griffiths, Specialist Operations at Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 6497 or email Jonathan.Griffiths AT gmp.police.uk

That's great news. I really hope the proper owners can be found and re-united with their bikes and the scumbags that stole them get what they deserve. Shame none of em are either of mine that were stolen last year.

If you find a 4rt with works components on it belongs to me..

A spaniard by the name of Bou nicked it.

I heard he is very hard to catch.

I see they were real careful when tieing them down <_< but I am certain the rightful owners will be very pleased to have them back  regardless how they were tied down.
