Hi guys I've got a gas gas txt pro 05 300 starts warms up and rides fine for about 5 mins then cuts out and won't start again until it cools down I've been told it could be the coil does anyone agree also is there a proper name for it? Any other info would be great

Well after riding for about 5 mins it just loses revs and dies and there's nothing there wen u try to rev almost like it running out of fuel but its not and I've cleaned and checked the carb that's fine

Is petrol tank is vented properly? Tank vacuuming and not releasing fuel? Run it with petrol cap off to see if it dies

So you have no spark when it dies? Have you checked the float bowl for fuel right away?

My ty80 did this. It was the spark plug

You can't use the Internet do diagnose a motorcycle

Inevitably it will be you who looks to see if the bike has spark or not

Put a spare plug in your pocket and as soon as the bike dies, pull the cap and insert the new plug and check for spark

If it has spark then move onto fuel problems
