slapshot 3
just to let you know to bring waterproof clothing and camping equipment.... but we have a large tent ready for the saturday get together so no worries there. I wouldn't pay too much attention to weather.com - their long range forecast isn't that great. I'll be keeping an eye on the Met Office site through the week though! Good Man Andy, these amateurs are crap While you are at it gonna sign the petition at the link, in fact everyone do it. I'm too bloody old for a career change. ta Donald Save Scotlands last Met Office Edited July 25, 2005 by Slapshot
Andy
Signed - and I'd encourage everybody else to do so. This is off-topic, but those guys who fly on helicopters every week to oil platforms in the North Sea rely on local forecasts. With the Met Office threatening to close Aberdeen they'd lose that "closeness".
Andy
Things are looking a bit more positive. Linky
subira
I think the boy Lampkin could do with a bit of weather precipitation to add to his home advantage We don't want those big rocks to be dry do we ? Got the wet weather gear ready just in case.
toofasttim
What are you suggesting Sub? That you all p*** on the sections if it's dry?
bigfoot
With the amount of beer likely to be consumed we could more than dampen all the sections I'm sure. Who do you suggest we wait for before starting?
subira
Rain would do nicely - but if the big fella upstairs can't deliver ??
subira
Looks like it could be a little wet both inside and outside the TC tent on Saturday night http://www.met-office.gov.uk/lib/includes/...shrewsbury.html Fridays forecasted storms, and rain and cloud on Saturday should tee it up nicely for the Brit Pack. Unfortunately this means I'll be testing how waterproof my tent is - but only from the outside. Note to self: Pack all your waterproof gear, you may be sleeping in it ! bigfoot
I was actually asking which rider we wait for before all letting loose so to speak.

I'm just a big pussy in real life, hiding behind the medium of the Internet to fire my sarcasm at people. I'll be a mouse in the corner on Saturday waiting for someone to lamp me
