Hello all, I am just getting back into trials, I trialled for about 4 years but with work commitments I have missed the last 4 years and my sherco hasn't turned a wheel.

Anyway im making the time to start my hobby again, ive got the sherco going and im thinking of upgrading before summer,

my sherco 290 is an 04, average condition, what would this roughly be worth now?

next question is whats the best bike about these days? how far have they come in the last 4 years? apart from price!!!

i had a look on ebay, to get a rough idea how much i should be paying for a second hand bike but watch for the bikes that are for sale from dealers/bike shops, they do seem to sell the best bikes but they are about £400-£500 more than the private sales, but it does give you an idea what people are paying, part x is always an option.
