December 31, 201312 yr hello All my name is Mick ,I am from Barnsley and am wanting to have a go at trial I am from a motor x background so this is a bit of a change .that said I did have a txt 280 a couple of years back .Anyway the question is what the hell do I buy .I dont realy want to spend alot at this time .i am thinking of a montesa 315 99 .whats your thoughts .? December 31, 201312 yr great bike easy to ride look out for worn suspension bearings and noisy mains and as long as you look after it you wont lose any money on it

January 1, 201412 yr Make sure you ride it. Get it hot, make the fan work. No matter the brand you want the cooling system to work before purchase.

January 1, 201412 yr Speaking from experience you can find a nice gasser for around 900 pounds ,might take a bit of time but one should turn up that fits the bill ! Stay safe!
January 1, 201412 yr Buy the best condition bike you can,an 07 sherco will ride better than the Mont but may not be the better buy if its had a hard life,Abused and poorly maintained bikes can take a lot to put right,generally more than getting the right bike to start with.Take a mechanically minded mate with when you view it.easy to miss problems with your own eyes.Good luck
