Recently bought a 2008 rev 3 250 and want to change the gearbox oil. Looked at other posts on this forum and some people say ATF some say mobil 1, the manual says Bardahl 20w40.

Can someone give a straight forward answer lol,

Also is it 550ml that is the recommended volume,

Use what ever makes you happy. Seems like I ran my beta`s at 500cc of atf. Check out the clutch fix by Williams in the beta forum.

also use atf with no probs

ATF won't hurt anything. I just feel it makes for a grabby clutch which makes life a little too exciting for duffers like me.

What do you use Dan Williams?

Bel-Ray or Spectro gear oil but any good wet clutch oil works.
