mcbou46 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Not being the greatest fan of the non stop ruling but getting on with it.... But watching old dvd's 2002-2003 era when they ran stop for one mark lost seems to work so much better. The riders giving their very best to keep moving for the clean ride but not all is lost if they come to a hault with only the one mark being lost. One mark lost for a stop seems to pretty fair rather then a soul destroying five! Would be good if Acu & F.I.M would look back for alternatives... lineaway Report post Posted August 28, 2014 Trouble was, you stopped three times and got a three and never dabbed! Then the rider argued each one.
dannyb Report post Posted August 28, 2014 I agree, makes sense to me, but then that was the rules I learnt under. Sections still needed to 'flow' but you could put in some more technical aspescts without it being unrideable for anything less than a five!
zippy Report post Posted August 29, 2014 Stop + balance = 0 pts Stop + foot down = 5 pts (you are now a kick stand) Seems like a good compromise to me between No-stop and stop allowed.
