I ask as this was mentioned over a cup of tea with a friend, we weren't sure....Fantic won World Outdoor in 1985 and the SSDT in 1984 but were these mono or t/s and, both were possibly 'works issue' so may not concurr with the then production models?

got this from wiki so could be wrong?

When the 240 was current LeJeune was winning the world titles on his Honda, the bike Michaud was on in '85 was the mono

For the SSDT,Michaud was on the 300 in '84 and the mono after that. Don't think Michaud ever rode the 240 as he was on the SWM then.

Woody is correct Michaud won the SSDT on the 300 Twinshock fantic in 84. In 85 he won the SSDT and WTC on the 301 prototype Monoshock. As far as I know he never rode the 240 in competition

When He and Bernie signed my 240's tank at the world round here , he did say my bike was prior to his Fantic ride as he checked her out .

Glenn :)
