Mooses

Featured Replies

I have had a look , but can't find the info, I am sure there was talk of a trials moose , are they available, half way through an Enfield rigid build, and was thinking a puncture proof rear would be handy...

No such thing as far as I know as they can't get them to deform as a trials tyre has to.

Normal moose may be ok as although they're 14 psi equivalent, the weight of a rigid Ariel may flatten the profile and put some deformity in it... ;)

4 security bolts, thik Enduro or MX Tube that will do.

Remove cores to make them softer.

Cores?    they were just a solid rubber moulding when I used to use them, no cores

Nuetech makes a run flat system called Tubliss, Its a bladder inflated to 100lbs. and seals the tire to the rim. I run it in my evo. The only thing I wasn't fond of was drilling a new stemhole for their proprietary rim lock. Punctures are repaired with tire plugs or you can run tire sealant but I get by without it.
