I have a 2015 J.Gas 300, very happy with the bike, apart from the clutch cover breaking at the same place every time.

The hydraulic pressure seems to be to much for the wall thickness of the cover, and it pops this little ring of magnesium off every time.

Is there a remedy for this or how can it be repaired?

I've seen this before. They're obviously a bit too light for their own good.

Personally I would repair it or buy a new one and heavily reinforce it with a tig.

Check if the clutch centre bolt has come lose, it is a 7mm allen socket head with a lock washer. If this was loose, the slave piston may foul the top of the socket head and come to a stop, the casing therefore taking any extra pressure. The spring washer below the centre nut does not rest up well against the clutch centre, even when tight, the centre is physically loose on the shaft with visible end float. Prefer to fit a fat flat washer with approx 18mm OD and a bit of loctite on the centre bolt.

I did almost the same as peterb on my 2015 JGas but found a better spring washer than the original - slightly wider (did not measure it) and slightly thicker and checked and checked that it would be flat once torqued up and used mid-strength Loctite (blue) after carefully cleaning threads of both components and all has been well since then. But will take peterb advice and check endfloat again to be sure.
