January 16, 200422 yr I've just acquired an'03 Rev3 250 and am interested to know what fuel mix ratio other owners use.I've been told different things by two very reputable dealers.One says use fully synthetic oil at 50:1 and the other says semi-synthetic at 70:1. All input welcome Thanks.

January 16, 200422 yr I contacted Lampkins a while ago about the mix for my Techno...he said 70:1 mix "semi" synthetic . according to him you should only use semi in Beta`s I had a large bottle of fully synthetic (Ipone) so will use all that up before trying semi Regards N

January 18, 200422 yr why so much oil. when your queing for the section people must get pi$$ed of with you cause of the smoke i know this usaly happens cause i used to run my bike at 60:1 and lots of people got annoyed with me ;1
January 19, 200422 yr Author My lad ran the bike this weekend on the new strawberry flavoured Putoline synthetic at 70:1 with no apparent problems.May try the PJ1 semi next.
January 20, 200422 yr I've got an '01 Rev3 and I run PJ1 Silverfire in it, at about 70:1, and have done for the best part of 2 years, and it runs nicely. I had a '97 Techno before that for about 18 months and ran the same. KB.
January 20, 200422 yr Fully synthetic at 80:1. Thats what I have run in all my revs and never have had any problem with any type of buildup anywhere.
January 20, 200422 yr 80:1 in my 95 Techno & just rode my new 04 Rev3 at an indoor demo for three days also at 80:1 Opti 2 oil here in Canada. Best stuff ever, no blue out the back.
