December 27, 20178 yr Make sure to check the COM port on your driver. Then match that. (See my picture)
December 27, 20178 yr The COM port matches, plus have previously tried bridging blue & green but still no luck. I think I am running out of variables to try, so may need to ponder this and try again later. Thanks all for your kind input. BTW - my bike is a 2015 TRi 300 with my old 2012 Explorer plastics, tank & seat on it. Like my other bikes it gets a good pampering to keep it in new condition and operating as best as it possibly can.

I have not tried fitting my Explorer subframe on my 300 factory to see if it clears the exhaust or not.
December 28, 20178 yr Standard exhaust on the TRI 300. the Explorer parts fit on the 300 nicely without any modification required.
January 9, 20188 yr BTW, I'm watching as you all arrive at a solution for this communication issue. I'm not the most computer literate so, really just haven't had anything to contribute. Fingers crossed that you solve it. "not to stray too far off topic but I just have to comment on how spotlessly clean kiwishauns Ossa is" I was thinking he must be working on a new bike.
January 9, 20188 yr Hi, Phil, It looks like ossabc63 has found a cable solution. Have a look under the topic 'Ossa TR280 Software'.
January 22, 20188 yr Hi All, Just an update. I received the new FTDI serial TTL-232 USB Cable over the weekend and grafted the terminal plug from one of my earlier failed FTDI cables and plugged it into my TRi300. It works ! See attached photo's. Thanks.
January 22, 20188 yr I found an oem cable for sale (minus the software) on the weekend. But the price is over the moon.
January 22, 20188 yr Where did you find the proper connector that plugs into the bike’s diagnostic port? I have the pins, but cannot find the plug. mark
January 22, 20188 yr Go to: http://www.cycleterminal.com/hm-sealed-series-090.html You only need the 6 pin female half body. - or 4 pin half body for the 2012 model Ossa. It's also worth buying extra pins and sealing plugs for the wires (see bottom of page for extra terminals & seals). Good luck.
January 22, 20188 yr P.S. - grind of the locking tab on the female half body. This reduces the pressure when trying to detach the diagnostic cable from the bikes connector plug. And when detaching always pull on the connector plug not the wires which are very delicate.
January 22, 20188 yr Corsa technic. Com they are hm sealed comes with terminals and seals great website. Cheers
