November 29, 20178 yr my brothers had a 16 ice hell for a few weeks and its caught up on the footpeg exactly like this loads of times.
December 1, 20178 yr I suspect you could just file down the trailing edge of the kicker a little to get it to clear the peg.

What does help is to stop the kick earlier. On an Ossa the kickstarter damages the footrest mount (which I didn't like...). I learned to kick hard at the start of the stroke and stop before hitting the mount. Same technique on the Vertigo prevents catching the peg.
