Hi, I’m replacing fork seals on my fantic 200, what’s best? 2 seals in each leg or 1 seal & spacer 

 

If they are 35mm Betors then use KTM SX 65 from 2002 to 2009 seals. These are Ariette seals with a double lip and even come with some seal grease to cut friction from new. You only need one seal a side with these. I use them in all my Bultacos and they are brilliant. Graham.

Hi Graham, yes there 35mm, do you use spacers to replace the second seal?

Think Fantics had marzzochi's ? If so use 2 IMO.

Some had Betors, similar to the Betors fitted to my twinshock Beta TR240. One of Birketts early 200s did but not sure if they were on production bikes?

Mine are betors, with double pinch bolts, I’ve taken them apart but the stanctions go tight in the right leg about 3 1/4 way down. Both stanctions ok in other leg !
