Do you still have to remove the flywheel cover and clean/dry out after every wet ride?

Are the carb flooding problems cured?

Are the electrics sorted?

Son is considering buying one it's between a beta and a scorpa and i can see i'll be left doing the maintainance

It's only 3 bolts to remove the flywheel cover. Wash the bike, remove the cover and lean the bike over to the right to drain any water inside, start the bike and let it run until hot, kill the engine and spray the flywheel and cover with WD40, refit or leave it off until you next use the bike. Also cut a 'V' shape out of the bottom of the cover so that any water that goes in, comes straight back out again. Don't p*** about sealing the cover on, as it's easier to whip it off after each wash.

The leaky carb is still the same, JLI's will cure it for
