Are the carb flooding problems cured? Are the electrics sorted? kinell Posted December 30, 2005 Report Share Posted December 30, 2005 It's only 3 bolts to remove the flywheel cover. Wash the bike, remove the cover and lean the bike over to the right to drain any water inside, start the bike and let it run until hot, kill the engine and spray the flywheel and cover with WD40, refit or leave it off until you next use the bike. Also cut a 'V' shape out of the bottom of the cover so that any water that goes in, comes straight back out again. Don't p*** about sealing the cover on, as it's easier to whip it off after each wash.
