Hi ive got an 06 beta 250 and its a great bike i love the riding position but after a year on a 05 sherco 250 i find the engine to be rather flat I would like to make it more shercolike i was told to get used to it and i have and can use the engine the way its ment to The bike is in peices at the moment (fork seals have gone and new tyre) so i was at cowm quarry today and i had a go on a sherco 290 with kehin carb and loved the engine ive also rode richard timperlys gasgas and found the engine very good I know i couldnt make it as powerful as the sherco but cold i get my engine close to that as in responsive and solid feeling so just wondering if i can make the bike more powerfull or am i wasting my time??? thanks in advance Cheers Jamie

a few things first its not a honda CG125 engine second i think he failed to mention what the builder was a professional at! BUT how cool would it be to actually beat someone in a trial on it i mean WOW you would feel like a man!!!

id reccoment SIDI enduro boots they are planty movable and offer a little more protection than most trials boots especially above the toes!

there is team wardel trialsports practice ground dont know if you can just ride it or what id give them a ring

personally id go for beta or sherco but thats just me also how old are you? have you rode bikes before? what cc nike are you after? and do you want it for competition or play riding? all of those play a factor in which bike to choose

standard sherco bars bend pretty easily

ive got one and so far no problems! touch wood i know TW trialssports can sort thr carb problem but mine hasnt leaked yet so havnt sent it off get a beta you know you wanna!
