October 26, 20214 yr i've just shortened my handlebars, which has left the clutch and front brake hoses a bit too long. Assuming I get on with the shorter bars, can anyone recommend someone who can make up some shorter hoses? (Or if I don't like them, I'll be looking for new handlebars. 🙄)
October 26, 20214 yr  You going road racing?  You could only removed so much, or is it on another bike?
October 26, 20214 yr Author 14mm off each end. Not a lot really, and people think it's perfectly normal to adjust the handlebar height and reach, so why not width? Hopefully I'll test it tomorrow so then I can report back.
October 26, 20214 yr I did mine Sunday. 14mm off the left and about 25mm off the right. I have an aluminum throttle tube that sits about 10mm wider due to the bearing.  I also removed the magnet and put a real teather kill switch under my bar pad. The tether will attach to my fanny pack, so no more killing the engine waving at friends.😄
October 27, 20214 yr Author A couple of hours riding today and I like the shorter bars. The difference is not hugely noticeable: I just felt a bit more comfortable with the riding position. So anyone with any suggestions for getting hoses made up?
October 28, 20214 yr Wez Moto, Wez is a nice guy and the hoses are really nicely made ... and he was cheaper than Venhill for what I wanted
