Very interested to hear from any fellow 3.20 riders, as am trying to gauge how many might be in the market for some 4t specific mods that have been developed by a reputable company who have a lot of R&D time with the Sherco four banger.

They realise that this forum is not the place for shameless unsolicited plugs!

So let me know where your loyalties lie, and send me a msg 'off-line' if interested,

or even just to say "Hi, I too have seen the light ..just like Caby!"

would these be the same 3.2T mods as advertisd in T&MX?

Always interested in making the bike 'better'.

PM me with details as well.

I have spoken with someone who has received their kit, fair to say he was not

massively impressed.

I to still have my 320 ,only because no one would take it in px

like atom i love it when it is running but hell it is so frustrating when it plays up

Sherco keep saying the same old thing the kit ts on the way (six months now)

but its too late i have lost all faith in it and sherco.

I have borrowed money and bought a monty (starts every time and has really good back up from the dealer /importer)

Best of luck though, but i wont waste another penny on mine

I have a 4t and have only ridden it in a few events. i just changed the main jet to a smaller one (per Ryan Young) and it seems to respond better through the range and not burn excess fuel (black smoke stutte) at the top end when warm like it used to. I like the bike and it starts easier as time goes on, but would love to hear about any mods that are going on and if a kit exists I would love to hear what is in it.

I put some heat shiel fabric between the exhaust and the fuel hose and carb and we'll see how that works at the first event of the season this sunday.

Ryan young is riding one now and hopefully the experts will wiegh in with what works for them. He has been helpful so far. I think that the new(06) frame allows more room for the engineand that may help with the temperature management.

At the last world round in Belgium in 2005 I saw a certain Mr Paxau kick a four stroke for 20 or 30 times before I got fed up and walked off. A video camera would have been so much fun. (and it still was'nt started when I left). He did the usual high tech bits like turn fuel off...then on...then off, look at it quisically give it a few more kicks repeat ad nausium.

They swore blind it was fully sorted the day before.

I still think the 2006 looks really nice.

Hi

Lets hope the new kit sorts the starting out for everyone.

Speaking of which, has anyone fitted the new replacement coil yet?

Haven't fitted mine yet but seems rather large for the space!!

Any pointers from those that have fitted it?

Cheers

Did you receive the complete hot start kit, or just the coil so far.

If you are one of the lucky few who have the kit, spill the beans and let us know what it contained.

Initial talk was of a mod to the carb to fit a lever operated hot start valve, and possibly a new decompressor assy.

It seems as if some of the replacement coils are designed for the 2006 frames, so may require some adaption to work on an 05.

Keep us posted with your impressions please.

I have received a 'full' kit.

a. Coil/HT lead/cap.

b. Kickstart lever, inc pivot/spline.

c. New camshaft and decompressor, as an assembly.

d. Hot start device/banjo bolt/cable/new clutch master cylinder top with

integral hot start lever.

Looks like a nicely engineered collection of parts.

Got a trial today so no time to fit anything other than the kickstart.

Cheers

The big test is to up end it vertical - leave it for 30 seconds and see if it starts after you bring it back down. Because its using the same carb then I assume it still has the same problem of fuel flooding the airbox that plagued my machine.

Has this been fixed in the new kit?
