John...there's a familiarity about this pic from somewhere in the depth of my mind......any ideas. It's a random image off another website

Is there a clue in the number plate Donald? Six Days Trial 1975?

No, it's the bike/car combo but yeah i did notice the Registration SDT 197 S.

Whats more the SD was an Ayrshire plate!

That's not an Ayrshire registration "SD" its actually "DT" which is a "darn sarff" sequence, never mind though, I think the photo was taken near Tyndrum, in fact I reckon opposite the Royal Hotel on the A82. The photo looks familiar probably someone going home after an early Pre65 when the bikes weren't so fiddle and cheating as they are now...ha ha!
