Some wacko freak brought up what kind of underwear Alexz Wigg wears and this got me thinking about the one piece suit as worn by all the world championship riders. God forbid, if an American were to compete at the highest level, would he wear such a hidious looking outfit?

This might be old news or even just a rumour but I have heard that the Sheffield Indoor at the end of December has international status but is not a World Round, is this correct and if this is the case why and just who might be riding in it.

So TC came up with the scope that Bou was, at the end of the season, joining Montesa HRC signing a 2 year contract. I'd heard sometime ago that Montesa were looking for a Spanish male rider to challenge for the WTC. To me Toni Bou is the obvious choice, young and talented. I personally think its a good move for Toni, Montesa HRC have unquestionably the best factory set up and the chance to be team mates with fujigas and Lampkin and the experience they bring will be if great benefit for his future asperations. In the past Doug predicted Bou as being a future World Champion, the reality of that just took a huge step forward.

Does anyone know how Marc Freixa is after is horrendous crash in Andorra. I saw it from the next section and one minute he was on top of an extremely high rock and then he went toppling off, similar to Dougs in Duluth. For an intital second I thought it was James Dabill that had come off as Dan Hemmingway shouted, 'are you allright Jim?' No one wants to see any rider getting hurt and lets hope he is soon back to full fitness.

after this weeks TMX, noticed the the TdNs is in France at Breal sous Montfort. This is only a couple of km from Rennes and makes a weekend jaunt possible without taking time off on Friday or Monday. Currently thinking of loading up the KTM and ferry Portsmouth -> St Malo on the Friday night (arrive 08.15am Saturday) and Cherbourg -> Poole back Sunday night (19h00 sailing). 2 up on the bike can be done for around

I think Raga had the luck running with him this season, and Fuji had it running against him early on, looking at the years results, Fuji has actually beaten Raga, more times than Raga has beaten him, the illness that Fuji suffered during the US and Japan round's, cost him the championship in my opinion. Who's favorite for next year on current form ?

Congratulations to Micheal Phillipson and his team. The only private entry in the world championship sections and he completed the trial on a very respectable 122. Micheal has a full time job to hold down which restricts his European forays and to pull a ride off at that level i think is a brilliant effort.

I'm interested to read the letter in T&MX news today from a spectator at Hawkstone, refering to the five given to Liai Sanz for riding out of the section. Did anyone else see, or hear of the incident? The letter suggests that it was a bad call as she was just trying a different line which was subsequently used without penalty by others.

On a similar topic to the Laia Sainz post - for those of you who were following the big boys round the last lap - what would you have given Raga on section 11? This was where he got the tape hooked over his back wheel and managed to hook it out with his foot. He got a two for his dabs. I heard a few people murmering it should have been a '5'. What d'ya reckon? And why! I was the fat bloke that left it at two fingers by the way

Lots of bits an pieces been said on different threads about this years trial whats your overall thoughts about it now the dust has settled. I personally thought it was a great weekend. Mini masters trial very good made all the better by Amos and his antics. Sections on Sunday very good with severity about right (still amazed at what they do even after watching around 10 world rounds) viewing seemed better than last year (not sure why) deserving winner in Fuji seems like a genuine guy. Shame Doug couldnt get his 100th GP win couldnt quite seem to put in that one amazing ride to get the crowd really behind him like last year (it was a hard act to follow).

The french minder carry a huge rock up the steep hillside in section 8 first lap then place it as a kicker in front of a step. Then he was so offended when the observers removed it from the section
