If Tony Bou is not allowed to contest full WTC/INDOOR series some problem w/ the rules needs fixing now. How can a board of men make him wait ,a rider w/ skills enough to win or even podium any WTC event is obviously up to par and should be part of the show. I would like someone who knows how the classification system works to eplain it please. What a year 06 should be w/ about 6 different riders realistically likely to score big points w/ overalls and podiums.

This is an e mail i have sent today to Eurosport, after having time off work to watch nothing. If i get a reply i will put it up on Trials central Would it be possible to obtain an explanation as to why programmes such as trials are put in the TV scheduling they do not appear to be broadcast? On many occasions there are no excuses as to why the events are cut from the schedule. You do not even put up a small banner on the screen to explain that the programme will be delayed or cancelled, This afternoon the Sheffield indoor world championship was due to be broadcast at 16.00 on Eurosport 2 but instead snooker was broadcast. The following has been reported on the Indoor Trials Official website for Marseille. 'Dougie Lampkin (Repsol Montesa-HRC) has not even finished first lap after a big crash in section five. Due to the impact he has suffered several contusions.' Does anyone have any further news, how serious is the injury?

Have any of you noticed that a highlight clip of Sheffield has been added to the worldtrials.info / www.indoortrial.com website? Looks like a good site since it will be showing clips well before they are on eurosport. You do have to sign up to their newsletter though. Just thought you lot who don't have SKY especially might like to know. bob

So I went over to Todotrial to read their report on Sheffield. I had to run it thru Babelfish to translate it, and Tony Bou comes out as "Toni Seine fishing"????????????????????

Just got home from The Hallam Arena (Sheffield)- what a night! The best Shefield for years- even though Doug didn't make the final Bou was the moral and actual (thank god) winner - those team-tactics from Gas Gas sucked. Still can't quite believe how Bou managed to ride the "race barrels" so fast. I've seen them done on the back wheel plenty of times- but not at warp speed- sensational! Marc Vinco was also fantastic entertainment and allowed the commentators the quality line of "Well, we've seen it done on a push-bike" (before the 3 finalists were about to attempt the Q8 Oils section in the final) Fantastic night, and I wouldn't bet against Bou for either world champi…

I know the indoors is different but have we seen the end of the older generation of riders? Doug and Fuji are clearly never gonna get a WTC title indoors, but outdoors is it past them aswell? And raga most would agree the bike advantage handed him the title in 2005, but is 2006 different for outdoors? Bou to win o/s this year?

does anyone know where to get tickets for the 2006 world indoor championship in ireland?
